Sermarine is a port agency for tankers and gas carriers calling at Algeria’s oil and gas ports. We work as two sister companies, with one point of contact for the whole call.
Sermarine Shipping Ltd
London, since 2014
Our hub office and your point of contact: nominations, PDAs, funding and the final settlement.
SARL Sermarine
Algeria
Our operating company, with a local office at each port where we operate. It runs the calls with the port authorities, the terminals and customs.
How a call works
- Nomination You appoint us by email for your vessel, usually a few days to a few weeks before the laycan.
- PDA Our London office replies with a proforma disbursement account, built from the port’s official tariffs.
- Funding You fund the call in advance. We track every payment against the PDA and tell you early if anything is missing.
- The call Our local office prepares the arrival with the terminal, follows the berthing, the cargo and customs, boards the ship and keeps you informed until it sails.
- FDA We pay the port and the service providers, collect every invoice and send you the final account, normally within a month of sailing, showing exactly where your money went. Any balance in your favour is refunded with it.
